Job Summary: The Crushing Screening Assembly Fitter is responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining machinery and equipment used in the crushing and screening industry. This role requires a thorough understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with heavy machinery and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assembly and Installation:
o Assemble crushing and screening machinery according to technical drawings and specifications.
o Install machinery at client sites, ensuring all components are properly connected and operational.
2. Maintenance and Repairs:
o Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
o Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, replacing parts as necessary.
o Conduct inspections and tests to verify the functionality of equipment.
3. Technical Support:
o Provide technical support to clients, addressing any questions or concerns regarding the equipment.
o Train clients' personnel on the proper use and maintenance of the machinery.
4. Quality Control:
o Ensure all assembled equipment meets the company's quality standards.
o Document all work performed, including inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
5. Health and Safety:
o Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
o Ensure a clean and safe work environment, promptly addressing any hazards.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Education:
o High school diploma or equivalent required.
o Technical or vocational training in mechanical assembly, engineering, or a related field preferred.
2. Experience:
o Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in the crushing and screening industry or a similar field.
o Experience with heavy machinery and industrial equipment.
3. Technical Skills:
o Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
o Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components.
o Skilled in using hand and power tools, as well as precision measurement tools.
4. Soft Skills:
o Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Certifications:
o Certifications in mechanical assembly or maintenance are a plus.
o Forklift and heavy machinery operation certifications may be required.
