What will you be doing as our new Electrical Engineer Graduate?
As an Electrical Engineer Graduate, you’ll be supported and guided by experienced engineers and learn to become an expert in your discipline.
You’ll have opportunities to gain experience necessary for chartered status, such as site experience, commercial exposure, and access to digital tools to improve engineering design quality.
Key responsibilities:
* Design and specify LV electrical installations and distribution systems
* Design and specify LV assemblies (MCC, LV Switchboards, and Control Panels)
* Review LV electrical designs produced by contractors (electrical schematics, cable calculations, and termination diagrams)
* Specify and select instrumentation based on process design
* Contribute to developing solutions and designs for Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants and sewerage/water systems aligned with Anglian Water’s goals for customer satisfaction, environmental impact, and efficiency
* Collaborate with the design team to develop 3D models and solutions
* Support health & safety standards, producing safe designs in compliance with CDM Regulations, standards, and codes of practice
* Promote technical excellence across projects
* Maintain communication with Engineers, Technical Managers, and Operations to ensure smooth interdisciplinary interfaces, manage overlaps, and share best practices
