JOB SUMMARY: The successful M3 Finance Specialist will manage, deliver, and support full life cycle implementation M3 projects, focusing on end-to-end finance processes in an international, multicurrency business. This role involves collaborating with departmental colleagues with Supply Chain, Product, EDI and e-Commerce specialisms, as well as Infor partners and Portwest functional teams. Key responsibilities include systems configuration, data migration, and conducting user acceptance and end-to-end testing. The successful candidate will need to be onsite 2 days a week, in either of our UK locations (Manchester or Thurnscoe ). OVERVIEW OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary contact for M3 ERP Finance request/queries submitted by Portwest colleagues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Oversee, configure and maintain Infor M3 finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management, to meet Portwest requirements. Lead all finance-related projects including M3 New Sites, Retrofit Existing Sites and new M3 Capabilities by analysing existing systems and processes to identify improvement. Conduct end-to-end testing to ensure system integrity and accuracy. Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with system optimization. Liaise with 3rd Party vendors regarding SLA's, Quotes, Work Orders, and Invoice queries. Create and maintain documentation related to system configuration, processes, and procedures. Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users on Infor M3 finance functionalities. Track and report on agreed KPIs at the agreed frequency. Lead Portwest’s M3 finance solutions, ensuring alignment with industry standards, and staying updated with the latest Infor ERP M3 Finance features and best practices. REQUIREMENTS 5 years of proven experience working with Infor M3 finance modules and associated configurations, customization, and integrations (via Project delivery and or BAU support) A minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar industry (Product, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Apparel) Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices (General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management). Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and solution orientated. Analytical thinking Ability to work as part of a team and c ollaborat e. Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail.
