Role Description
Organisation of Burgh Beautiful’s sponsorship scheme – our charity’s main source of income.
Responsibilities include:
1. Maintenance of registers of sponsors and income received.
2. Organisation of sponsorship renewals every autumn, including correspondence with all sponsors (over 100).
3. Organisation of publicity to attract new sponsors.
4. Maintenance of a waiting list of those interested in sponsorship.
5. Maintenance of the sponsorship list for inclusion in the Floral Trails booklet and elsewhere.
6. Ordering and designing of sponsorship plaques and organisation of erection of plaques.
7. Dealing with occasional sponsorship enquiries.
Required Skills, Qualities, and Experience
High levels of competence and accuracy in record-keeping; numeracy and correspondence skills; ability to use Microsoft Word; experience in dealing with emails; preferably good local knowledge and contacts.
Training and Support Available
Initial training and support will be available, particularly past records and correspondence.
