Dual Registered Manager
Children’s Residential Care
Location: Bradford (BD4 & BD5)
Salary: £60,000pa - £70,000pa
Homes: 2 Brand New 2-Bed Homes
We’re looking for an experienced Registered Manager to open and run two new 2-bed children’s homes in Bradford just a few minutes apart. You’ll have full say over the team, the structure, and how you want the homes to feel. This isn’t a place where you’ll be micromanaged. Quite the opposite you’ll be supported to lead the right way, with trust, flexibility and real backing.
Both homes will be registered for either EBD or Complex Trauma, depending on the final staffing and care model you help shape. There’s already a strong foundation in place, with two existing homes in the group, one four-bed and one two-bed, both well-run and focused on genuine therapeutic care. The team here understands the job because the leadership have done it themselves.
What makes this role different:
* Two new homes, five minutes apart, both 2-bed
* You’ll be leading both registrations and shaping the homes from the ground up
* You decide the rotas, staffing structure, and how the homes run, you’re trusted to know what works
* There’s strong support from an experienced senior leadership
* A proper opportunity to build something you're proud of
What they’re looking for:
* You’ve been a Registered Manager before and held a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating
* You know the Children’s Homes Regs and Quality Standards inside out and you believe in doing things properly
* You’ve worked with children with EBD or complex trauma needs, and understand what consistency and safety really look like in practice
* You’re flexible, solutions-focused, and confident in leading a team through challenges
* You either already hold your Level 5 in Leadership & Management (Residential Childcare), or you’re at least 75% of the way through it
What’s on offer:
* Up to £70,000 salary
* Full autonomy over both homes, with strong support from a director who’s walked the path
* A real say in how your homes run
* Opportunity to grow with the organisation and help shape the wider care model
* A genuinely child-centred culture that prioritises the right things
If you're someone who’s ready for a new challenge but wants to stay grounded in meaningful work with children this could be exactly the right move. This isn’t just another manager post. It’s a proper chance to create something special, backed by a team that gets it.
