Our client, a leading Workplace Solutions provider, is looking for a Delivery Manager.
As the Delivery Manager, your remit is to lead, drive, and deliver the Group’s transformation programme and associated change activities by embedding robust governance, practices, and methodologies that promote continuous improvement and collaboration.
Change & Transformation Responsibilities
1. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration
2. Direct the business travel, ambition, and transformation to create an aligned and realistic change portfolio
3. Prioritize the change portfolio, ensuring alignment with the business strategy
4. Embed and monitor an effective organizational design of the change function to meet current and future demands of the portfolio
5. Collaborate proactively with finance colleagues to track and monitor the budget for the change portfolio and its priorities
6. Ensure clear scoping, requirements definition, solution design, planning, delivery, and benefits realization disciplines are in place
7. Monitor programme and project progress against all KPIs
8. Lead and maintain a new Change Team consisting of IT Project Managers and Business Analysts, managing a small to medium portfolio, while liaising with and educating Project Leads across the business
9. Drive high levels of engagement and motivation to achieve the best results
10. Manage team outputs in line with performance management frameworks and standards
Governance & Best Practice
1. Communicate and embed change methodologies for effective delivery of the change portfolio and transformation programme
2. Manage standards and practices for change delivery across the business, ensuring consistency and discipline
3. Lead and review an effective and robust PMO function
Stakeholder Relationship
1. Engage with board and senior leaders, establishing clear expectations and sponsorship for change activities
2. Facilitate key stakeholder and board exploration and expectation-setting sessions
Qualifications & Experience
1. Proven experience in leading and driving organizational transformation
2. Successful delivery of medium to large-scale change programmes with benefits, savings, and service improvements
3. Experience in programme management within multi-disciplinary organizations
4. Familiarity with supply chain and distribution businesses, especially retail and logistics
5. Ability to lead, engage, and influence at multiple levels
6. Degree qualification and/or experience in recognized project management methodologies such as PRINCE II, Waterfall, Agile, or DevOps CI/CD
