Key responsibilities include research, outreach and pitching to new brand partners, managing and leveraging existing partner plans, preparing press releases, media pitches, and supporting the marketing team with a HF Holidays ambassador program. The role’s PR & Partnerships responsibilities include but are not limited to: Developing a comprehensive PR and partnerships strategy with the Senior Marketing Manager that aligns with the HF Holidays vision, values and strategic goals, with the support of a PR agency to implement Managing our PR agency and related spends Raising our brand profile through gaining positive media coverage both locally and nationally Creating, managing and approving a variety of content, including press releases, newsletters, blogs and thought leadership pieces Building and maintaining strong relationships with key media outlets, brand partners, and stakeholders in the travel and tourism landscape, including tourist boards Planning and managing media engagement activities such as press trips, media enquiries, interviews Research, outreach and management of brand partners aligning to a brand partnership strategy, and commercial objectives Managing existing partners to execute activation plans aligned to strategic objectives set with the Senior Marketing Manager Developing a measurement framework to share results and monitor ROI Engaging with the wider marketing team and other departments to translate customer experiences into good news stories Preparing design briefs for all PR & partnerships collateral with the support of the Marketing Services Executive Understanding the market and competitor landscape with the ability to feed in trends and insights to marketing and product team meetings Working with the Senior Marketing Manager to manage the PR agency budget, and ROI from partnerships Occasional travel required, expenses covered About you: We would love to hear from you if you have these essential skills: 5 years in a PR role, either agency or in-house Experience managing a PR agency, or working in an agency Relevant degree (English, Media, Journalism, Communications desirable) Strong copywriting and attention to detail Experienced and confident forging relationships across media, senior stakeholders, and members Organised with proven project management experience and attention to detail A natural ability to collaborate with others, thrive under pressure and communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
