Job Description: As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and optimising new processes and equipment while adhering to 5S and lean manufacturing principles. Leading New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and ensuring successful Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews. Translating customer requirements into efficient and conforming manufacturing solutions. Managing projects, including new equipment, plant installations, and service upgrades. Preparing detailed manufacturing documentation and participating in risk assessments. Problem-solving production issues and generating comprehensive reports. Skills & Experience: Essential: Recognized engineering apprenticeship with an HNC in an Electro/Mechanical discipline. At least 3 years’ experience in a low-medium volume manufacturing environment. Proficiency in engineering drawings, GD&T, and quality assurance processes. Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills. Hands-on experience with fitting, machining, and technical specifications. Desirable: Experience with AutoCAD/SolidWorks or similar CAD packages. Familiarity with assembly, furnace brazing, CNC machining, TIG/plasma welding, and surface treatments. Why Should You Apply?
