Job summary We have exciting times ahead within Elective Orthopaedics in Derriford Hospital as we are soon opening a brand-new theatre suite which will also include a self-contained admissions area and state of the art medi-rooms for optimum patient experience. We are looking for Band 5 Practitioners to join our team working within admissions, 1st stage and second stage recovery. Successful candidates will be patient orientated, enthusiastic and able to work in a dynamic, ever developing environment. We of course welcome those recovery experience, however we have in place a full Theatre Recovery Foundations Programme and a comprehensive training programme ready to go for all new starters, so if you are a registered nurse or ODP that has not worked in the recovery area or even the theatre environment before we would still welcome applications from interested candidates We are working towards enhanced patient pathways and have this fantastic opportunity to build a forward-thinking dynamic team to take this forwards.
