Are you passionate about helping students succeed?
Do you have a natural ability to support others and work well in a team? If so, we want to hear from you!
We are looking for 2 enthusiastic, motivated, and reliable Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team at Litherland High School. While experience is preferred, what matters most to us is your commitment to supporting students and your eagerness to make a difference in their learning journey.
The positions will be fixed term appointments, as they are subject to funding.
The work will involve supporting pupils in lessons, delivering literacy and/or numeracy units to small groups of pupils outside normal lesson times, and providing intervention and support for students with special educational needs.
You will need to work well in a team and be an enthusiastic and committed individual who has the highest expectations to ensure our students achieve great outcomes. You must have an interest in working with students with special educational needs and be willing to work with them either on a one-to-one basis or in a small group setting. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who wish to develop in a supportive, well-resourced, and exciting environment. We are an inclusive school, with opportunities for you to develop in your career.
If you can inspire, encourage, and enjoy working with young people, and are determined to make a real difference, you could be the kind of person we are looking for.
Litherland High School is committed to safeguarding children and promoting the wellbeing of young people. An appointment will only be confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS), and will be subject to references.
