Your Role: As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring individuals receive the highest level of care and support. Working across supported living, residential/nursing homes, and children's services, your responsibilities will include: Promoting Independence: Encouraging and enabling individuals to make their own choices in daily activities. Assisting with life skills such as budgeting, meal planning, and household tasks. Daily Support and Activities: Supporting individuals with their day-to-day routines, including attending appointments, social outings, and recreational activities. Promoting social inclusion by encouraging interaction and participation in community events. Maintaining Safety and Wellbeing: Conducting risk assessments and reporting any safeguarding concerns in line with policies. Monitoring individuals' physical and emotional wellbeing and reporting any changes to the care team or manager. Keeping Records: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, medication administered, and any incidents or changes in condition. Completing mandatory documentation, including daily logs, incident reports, and handovers. Compliance with Regulations: Following all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for individuals and staff. Adhering to CQC (Care Quality Commission) standards and ensuring confidentiality at all times. What We're Looking For: We want people who care and are ready to make a difference. To join our team, you'll need: At least 6 months of experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, or Carer in the UK. Eligibility to live and work in the UK (no sponsorship available). Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends. Strong communication skills and a passion for helping others. Driving license preferred but not essential.
