Involve Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd are working with a Lock Manufacturer within the Black Country region to recruit for a Technical Assistant - this role will have the opportunity to develop into a Technical Manager position.
This crucial role will be responsible for managing and overseeing product specification, testing, certification, technical support, master keying, and training.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has experience with locks, access control, or door hardware.
Duties include:
1. Product Specification and Testing Management
2. Product Certification Management
3. Market Research and Analysis
4. Technical Support and Customer Service
5. Master Keying Management
6. Quality Assurance
7. Technical Training and External Visits
The ideal candidate will be from the locking or door hardware industry with a master key background; however, we are open to other manufacturing backgrounds with a technical role.
Note: A UK driver's license is essential.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8 am to 5 pm with an hour's lunch and Friday 8 am to 3 pm.
Salary is depending on level of experience but anything from £26,000 to £35,000.
