Role Overview
Lead a 150+ strong sales team to drive revenue growth, improve sales efficiency, and enhance customer relationships. Responsible for delivering new business of £100m-£250m in Year 1, with potential to scale beyond £250m in subsequent years.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Performance
* Drive consistent sales process from lead to close
* Manage team performance, ensuring 60-75% of sales reps achieve quota
* Deliver results through organic and inorganic strategies
* Engage with customers and sales teams to drive high-value deals
Operations and Efficiency
* Work closely with Sales Operations to drive accountability
* Leverage data analytics to optimise revenue-generating activities
* Partner with Marketing to support sales goals
* Develop sales enablement to improve product positioning
Team Leadership
* Hire, develop, and lead high-performing sales professionals
* Establish scalable organisation including sales enablement, channel management, and BDR functions
* Simplify and optimise sales structure
* Ensure variable compensation plans drive desired growth and behaviours
Requirements
* Senior leadership experience in software/SaaS sales (>£100 million scale)
* Proven track record of scalable growth in SMB sector
* Experience with multi-product environment, on-premise and cloud solutions
* Strong focus on sales effectiveness, processes, and data-driven KPIs
* Experience supporting acquisitive business growth
* Passion for customer outcomes and maximising wallet share
* Growth mindset, energetic, competitive, and collaborative
* Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
