Acosta Europe, part of one of the largest Sales and Marketing agencies globally, is seeking a Commercial Director to lead our commercial strategy. The role is key to the Reach Commercial Leadership Team, responsible for planning and delivering client commercial strategy, managing revenue growth and leading the client BUD team. The post holder will set strategic goals to achieve financial objectives, drive excellent execution of agreed plans and manage complex field and insight operations across multiple channels. They will also take an active role in developing our future proposition, products and services.
Job Title: Commercial Director
Reporting to: Managing Director

Location: Field-based, with a minimum of 2 days per week from Woking.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement the company's commercial strategy to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
2. Monitor and analyse commercial performance metrics, adjusting plans to meet targets and KPIs.
3. Collaborate with finance, business development and operations to support commercial initiatives.
4. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships and markets.
5. Lead the negotiation and closing of high-value deals and contracts.
6. Work with the finance team to set budgets, forecast revenue and monitor financial performance.
7. Align commercial activities with the company's financial goals and set pricing strategies.
8. Build and maintain relationships with major stakeholders, including clients, partners and industry leaders.
9. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
10. Hire, train and develop a high-performing commercial team.
11. Foster a positive work environment and provide guidance, support and professional development.
12. Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities and threats.
13. Use market insights to inform commercial strategy and decision-making.
14. Provide regular reports to the executive team on commercial performance, market conditions and strategic initiatives.
15. Represent Reach externally and contribute to the senior leadership team.
16. Attend relevant meetings and undertake additional duties as required.
17. Follow company policies and procedures, complete mandatory training and comply with GDPR and health and safety regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
* Minimum of 10 years’ experience in business development or commercial management.
* Expertise in market analysis, strategic planning and achieving revenue targets.
* Strong understanding of market dynamics, sales strategies and business development principles.
* Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Highly Desirable Experience:
Relevant certification in Sales or Marketing (e.g., Certified Sales Professional - CSP).
