Navv Associates Ltd are seeking a dynamic and motivated Student Recruitment & Career Advisor to join our team. As a Student Recruitment Advisor, you will play a key role in attracting and enrolling prospective students to our partner institutions. You will utilize your sales and communication skills to engage with potential students, guide them through the admissions process, and facilitate their transition to becoming enrolled students while providing exceptional customer service.
Main Responsibilities
Track Enquiries, applications, admissions data, and manage student recruitment pipelines.
Understanding of the UK's Further and Higher Education sectors.
Familiarity with student recruitment and outreach strategies.
Experience in stakeholder engagement, particularly with schools, colleges, Universities and community groups.
Knowledge of the creative industries and the wider creative economy
Experience in managing or coordinating student ambassador programs or similar initiatives.
Assessing personal skills and interests through interviews
Writing career literature and reports
Advising on applications, interviews, and CVs
Keeping up to date with training requirements and routes
Reporting to other stakeholders regarding the efforts and successes of the organization through career advise
Continuing to iterate ways to improve performance and efficiency
Showcase the unique features and benefits of university programs, highlighting strengths such as faculty expertise, industry connections, and experiential learning opportunities.
Utilize various communication channels, including phone calls, emails and virtual platforms, to engage with prospective students and nurture leads.
Maintain ongoing communication with prospective students to keep them engaged and informed throughout the admissions process.
Offer information, advice, and guidance on Student Finance and available financial support to address learning barriers.
Conduct informational sessions for prospective students to showcase our partner institution programs and facilities.
Assist with special projects and initiatives related to student recruitment and enrolment management as needed.
Participate in training sessions, workshops, and professional development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills as a Student Recruitment Advisor.
Requirements
Experience in Business Development, Educational Consultancy and Career Advisor is advantages. Training will be provided.
Strong IT skills are essential.
Strong social media skills.
Excellent sales and communication skills.
Experience with the UKVI applications& Student Route regulations.
Creative and innovative approach to problem solving.
Knowledge of two or more languages would be an advantage.
A high degree of judgement to make recommendations or decisions.
Should have the knowledge of UK and International Student recruitment market knowledge.
Experience in Office Management, Business Consultancy, Client management services.
Collaborate with internal teams to support the development of sustainable Business Support practices and solutions for our clients.
Sales Acumen: Identify the needs and goals of prospective students and recommend suitable programs. Utilize effective selling techniques to achieve enrolment targets.
Communication Skills: The ability to effectively communicate with prospective students through various channels including in-person interactions, phone calls, emails, and other platforms.
Customer Service Skills: Providing exceptional customer service to prospective students by addressing their enquiries, concerns, and needs in a timely and professional manner.
Active Listening: Listening attentively to the needs and concerns of prospective students and responding with tailored solutions and support.

Qualifications:
• Business and IT related degree qualifications are an advantage but not necessary
• Computer literate
• Good Standard of spoken English
• Good social and communication skills
