Job Description: We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join our team in Horley. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with young children and a strong commitment to their holistic development. Responsibilities include:
* Designing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities to promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
* Creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment where children feel valued and respected.
* Assessing children's progress, identifying individual needs, and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
* Establishing positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to foster a sense of community and collaboration.
* Collaborating with parents and caregivers to support children's learning and development both at home and in the classroom.
* Maintaining accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and behaviour, and communicating effectively with relevant stakeholders.
* Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in early childhood education.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
* Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
