If you're a passionate professional with a deep interest in Urgent and Emergency Care, specifically in dealing with Minor Injuries, Minor Illnesses, and the management of Acute presentations, this role is tailor-made for you.
We welcome both Adult and Paediatric presentations to our sites. As a registered professional with a Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice, you will bring with you a wealth of clinical experience. Your expertise will be crucial in assessing, treating, and managing a diverse caseload of patients in need of urgent care.
The post will involve cross-site working between Kings Mill ED and Newark UTC.

The post will involve cross-site cover/rotation to Kings Mill Hospital Emergency Department.

Knowledge
Essential
1. Possess a broad and advanced knowledge of clinical pathophysiology
2. Has a sound level of knowledge in relation to invasive and non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
3. Ability to take a full systematic focused history
4. Ability to make a diagnosis based on interpretation of imaging and pathology results
5. Has the knowledge to support safe clinical decision making in relation to discharge
6. Excellent communication skills with clear written and oral skills.

1. Registered nurse or allied health professional (NMC or HCPC)
2. Previous degree level qualification
3. MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (or working towards)
4. Evidence of ongoing CPD
5. ALS provider
6. Non-medical prescriber
7. Mentor/teaching qualification
8. Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development
9. Evidence of managing acute presentations
10. Clinical diagnostic skills including the ability to interpret X Rays and laboratory investigations
11. Evidence of substantial advanced level clinical practice demonstrated in a clinical portfolio
Desirable
1. Evidence of research and audit

5. Ability to perform basic interpretation of skeletal X-ray and CT brain
