Overview
Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in transforming our finance operations? My client is seeking a highly skilled ERP Program Manager to lead the transition from our legacy systems to the cutting-edge Microsoft Dynamics Business Central ERP solution. This is your chance to make a significant impact by ensuring seamless integration and alignment with their business goals.
In this position, you will lead the planning and execution of the Finance ERP transition, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met. You'll coordinate with the ERP project team, external vendors, and internal finance teams to ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption. Actively managing RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) to minimize their impact on the program is crucial. Additionally, you'll oversee the global rollout of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
You will oversee the migration of financial data from legacy systems into the new ERP system, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity. Validating and testing data migration results, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all required reports and records are available in the new system will be part of your responsibilities. Working with IT teams to ensure system compatibility and integration with other business systems is also essential.
Leading change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes within the finance function is a key aspect of this role. You'll develop communication plans to ensure transparency and understanding throughout the transformation process. Identifying and mitigating resistance to change, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and providing training and support to teams to ensure smooth transitions to new technologies and ways of working are also important.
You'll develop and deliver training materials and sessions for finance and accounting teams to ensure effective use of the new ERP system. Providing ongoing support and troubleshooting for users post-implementation, ensuring a smooth transition period, and ensuring that users are confident in operating the new system and can leverage its features to enhance financial operations are part of your duties.
Acting as a trusted business partner to senior leadership, you'll ensure alignment of transformation initiatives with overall business strategies. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, finance leaders, and IT teams is crucial. You'll collaborate with external implementation partners and vendors, ensuring alignment with the transformation goals, and communicate program status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders, ensuring clear and transparent communication.
Identifying potential risks and issues throughout the program and developing mitigation strategies is essential. You'll ensure all governance frameworks, including risk management processes, are adhered to. Actively managing dependencies and interdependencies across multiple workstreams to avoid delays or disruptions and providing proactive solutions to resolve issues and keep the program on track are also key responsibilities.
Leading the development of metrics and KPIs to assess the success of transformation initiatives, you'll identify opportunities to improve financial processes and workflows during the ERP transition. Working with finance teams to define new procedures and reporting structures within the new ERP system, you'll ensure that the new system complies with financial regulations and best practices.
