What Is the Opportunity?
We are looking for a Senior Claims Process Improvement Specialist to join our Claim Europe, Value Added Services team on a permanent basis, based in any of our UK offices. If you have a passion for Claim improvement and a drive to enhance the Customer/Broker journey and experience, this is the role for you! As a Claims Process Improvement Specialist, you will analyze and document Claims processes, participate in Claim reviews, projects, and Test & Learns. You should have excellent listening and communication skills, attention to detail, and be comfortable with data analysis. Collaboration across teams and making improvement recommendations will be key.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in process improvement/change management within a Claims environment. Travelers Europe offers flexibility for hybrid work, with employees working three days in the office and two at home, subject to policy changes. The role includes a £1500 new joiner bonus, with potential referral bonuses.

What Will You Do?
1. Build strong partnerships with Claim Europe colleagues, providing process improvement expertise to enhance performance and customer experience.
2. Review 'As Is' processes and recommend cost-effective future states to senior management, securing their support.
3. Lead implementation efforts to realize benefits, using project and change management techniques, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
4. Facilitate continuous improvement meetings, influence senior leaders, and share expertise in lean techniques.
5. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in strategic initiatives affecting operational effectiveness.
6. Lead or contribute to process improvement studies, focusing on impactful initiatives.
7. Ensure effective delivery and oversight of operational improvements across European Business functions, leveraging broader organizational resources.
8. Coach and mentor team members and leaders on continuous improvement and process optimization.
9. Implement recommendations to improve operational performance through redesigned workflows and technology use.
10. Participate in various projects as assigned by the Head of Claim, Europe.
11. Perform other duties as needed.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
* Knowledge of the insurance industry and core functions.
* University degree.
* Six Sigma Green Belt or higher, or recognized Lean certification, with proven experience in process reviews.
* Successful delivery of multiple process improvement projects.
* Market insight and ability to apply it to process improvements.
* Strategic and creative thinking skills.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within complex organizations.
* Operational skills to deliver on business plans.
* Highly organized, delivery-focused, and self-motivated.
* Experience leading change and influencing stakeholders.
* Experience managing process improvement projects through their lifecycle.
