We provide 24 self-contained fully furnished accommodation and support for homeless people from the Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe areas. Elizabeth House is quick access supported housing service accepting referrals from single people, couples both men and women aged 18yrs or over. Elizabeth House also manage 59 self-contained fully furnished accommodations within the boroughs of Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe. This is also known as our cluster (move on) service. Our clients have a wide range of complex needs, including mental health challenges, substance misuse, trauma and other vulnerabilities. We implement a person-centred support plan in collaboration with our clients and staff. Your responsibilities include a range of tasks focused on service users well-being, safety and security of the building. Below are the key duties and responsibilities. We are staffed 24 hrs and have a Night Support Worker post working 4 shifts on and 4 off between 21.30pm-08.30am. No experience needed; we provide full training. Duties & Responsibilities: Control access to the building at night and patrol in and outside the building and to carry out welfare checks on residents at night. To undertake house management tasks including reporting, following through maintenance requirements and health and safety requirements Provide face to face & one to one, informal support, dealing with a wide range of individual needs. Respect the rights and responsibilities of Service Users. Deliver a service which maintains a safe environment and meets legal obligations around health and safety and lone working To ensure that Service Users and tenancies are safe and secure. To build skills and confidence of Service Users. Handover to Manager and day staff every morning. To understand and actively promote the Organisations values (Respond/Respect/Empower). Why Join Us?
