Job Summary
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Coordinate the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing products.
2. Oversee all production flow through the department.
3. Responsible for training and upholding quality work standards.
4. Act as a liaison between the employee and manager regarding work-related issues and information.
5. Accountable for ensuring all equipment in the department is in safe running condition.
6. Promote cooperation, teamwork, and positive attitudes with employees and other areas, leading by example.
7. Adjust equipment or welding technique to produce appropriate welds.
8. Oversee production targets.
9. Follow assignments and responsibilities given by the Manager.
10. Support the development of 5S, TPM, and Kaizen programs.
11. Ensure safe operations.
12. Establish and execute a monthly plan.
13. Ensure daily control items align with the company business plan and key objectives/metrics.
14. Assist with the maintenance of the China Compulsory certification (CCC) system.
15. Administer performance reviews.
16. All other duties as assigned.
17. Possess a good understanding of welding fundamentals, the types of welding used, the setup and operation of welding equipment, and what constitutes a good or bad weld.
