Sales Consultant:
OXBO are pleased to be working with one of the UK’s most significant renewable energy supply companies, enabling the UK’s transition to a low carbon economy.
The client is seeking an ambitious Sales Executive to join a fast-growing team, specialising in selling electricity supply solutions to commercial, SME (Small and Medium Enterprises), and industrial customers. This role includes managing relationships through direct sales efforts and leveraging Third Party Intermediary (TPI) sales channels to maximise market penetration.
Responsibilities:
* Identify and acquire new customers in the commercial, SME, and industrial segments through direct sales and TPI partnerships.
* Collaborate with TPIs to ensure they are effectively promoting the company’s products and services.
* Develop and present customised proposals, pricing, and contracts that address customer energy needs.
* Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company.
* Provide TPIs with ongoing training, product updates, and sales materials to enhance their ability to promote the company’s services.
* Monitor and evaluate TPI performance, ensuring high standards of representation and compliance.
* Act as the primary point of contact for TPI queries, offering timely resolutions to ensure satisfaction and efficiency.
* Foster strong relationships with direct clients and key decision-makers within their organizations.
* Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
* Offer guidance to customers on energy procurement strategies, tariff options, and cost-saving opportunities.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
* Maintain accurate sales forecasts and activity records in the CRM system.
* Provide regular performance reports on direct sales and TPI channel activities to management.
* Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of sales and service delivery.
1. Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree
* 2+ years of experience in B2B sales
* Knowledge of the energy or utilities sector, electricity tariffs and/or energy solutions would be an advantage.
* Strong sales and negotiation skills with a history of meeting or exceeding targets.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to manage customer relationships effectively, ensuring mutual success.
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Analytical skills to assess customer needs and propose suitable solutions.
* Highly motivated and results-driven with a customer-first approach.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and partners.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
