Role Summary: To provide effective and efficient secretarial and administrative support for respective units as required, and to ensure a smooth and efficient operation, of office related matters at the International Tax Authority on a daily and long-term basis. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field Three (3) years of experience in a related field Knowledge and Skills: Sound knowledge of the International Tax Authority and Government structure, policies and procedures Sound knowledge of the use of standard office equipment and computer applications Sound oral and written communication skills Sound interpersonal, organizational and time management skills Ability to work well under pressure and as a team Good knowledge of general office procedures Main Responsibilities: Provide professional secretarial and administrative support to facilitate the smooth and efficient function of the respective units as required. Provide professional customer service, manage the switchboard; screen and transfer calls, take messages and distribute as needed to ensure timely and adequate information flow. Finalise and dispatch all tax information; notice, clarification, interim and final response; to local companies, banks, government agencies and regional partners. Provide clerical support by completing all photocopying, scanning, binding, monitoring, reviewing and accurately imputing data into the Exchange Management & Monitoring Application (“EMMA”) and Beneficial Ownership Secure System (“BOSS’s”) in a timely manner to facilitate the efficiency of the ITA. Ensure all correspondence that is collected and dispatched respectively are recorded appropriately to facilitate effective information flow. Assist with relevant research, gathering information and verifying data, as required. Assist with the records management of BVI Financial Account Reporting System (“BVI FARS’s”) for; Common Reporting Standard (“CRS”), Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (“FATCA”) and Country-by-Country Reporting (“CbCR”). Attend meetings, training session or workshops as instructed to ensure awareness of changes to policies or procedures relevant to the role. Liaise with colleagues and clients as directed. To ensure proper usage of standard office equipment and tools to facilitate longevity and consistent function of the organization. Any other related duties as may be required by the supervisor or senior officers in order to contribute to the effective and efficient function of ITA.
