What you'll be doing: As an IT Senior Project Manager you'll be working within a fast-paced delivery team to manage a range IT projects of varying complexities and differing technologies. You'll be responsible for all aspects of project scope and budget, project governance, resource management and stakeholder engagement. As such, you'll be working across a number of teams within IT and across the wider organisation, with opportunities to try new things, enhance our delivery methods and contribute to a culture of continual improvement. Experience working within multiple project delivery methodologies and across a range of IT projects: infrastructure, applications, bespoke software and SaaS. What you'll need: You will be an intelligent, enthusiastic, & high-performing individual with a strong track record in IT delivery. You will be a great communicator with the positivity and perseverance to get stuck in, solve problems and to see projects through to the end. You will have capability to manage large-scale, complex projects (including several projects at one time), handling conflicting priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. You must have good experience of different delivery methodologies (e.g. waterfall, Agile etc.) and the ability to judge the correct approach for the job in hand. You will have solid understanding of governance and delivery processes. We are looking for individuals who can contribute to the lifeblood of the delivery function by maintaining a continuous improvement mindset, challenging existing processes where necessary and recommending better ways of working. While not necessarily a line management position, we expect our Senior PMs to be able to call on their project management experiences in order to offer coaching and mentoring to other members of the team.
