We are seeking a skilled and experienced SC Cleared Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing construction projects ranging from £10,000 to £500,000. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, managing project delivery from initial brief through to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget., 1. Client Engagement: Meet with clients to understand their project requirements and objectives, ensuring clear communication and management of expectations. 2. Scope Development: Prepare detailed scope documents outlining the project requirements, deliverables, and success criteria. 3. Program Planning: Develop project programs and timelines, ensuring that the project milestones and completion dates are achievable and align with client expectations. 4. Cost Estimation: Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors (QS) to produce rough order of cost estimates, ensuring cost accuracy and feasibility. 5. Health & Safety: Understand and enforce Health & Safety regulations on-site, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies. 6. Project Delivery: Manage all aspects of project management, including coordination of resources, procurement, and stakeholder management to ensure successful project delivery. 7. Construction Drawings: Interpret and understand construction drawings, providing technical guidance where necessary to ensure alignment with project goals. 8. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project delivery remains on track. 9. Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and any variances from the project plan.
* Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally with a background in construction and M&E (Mechanical and Electrical).
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
* Demonstrable experience in preparing project scope documents, cost estimates, and program schedules.
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements within the construction environment.
* Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Projects).
* Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* SC Clearance is mandatory.
Desirable:
* Background in M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) with experience managing related projects.
* Familiarity with relevant construction contracts and procurement processes., Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred but not essential.
