About the NPD Project Manager job
The purpose of your role will be the primary contact for NPD, managing projects from proposal to launch. With your expertise in production processes and raw materials, you'll lead line trials, product evaluations, and present trials for customer approval. You'll also identify product opportunities to meet customer goals and strengthen the company’s market position.
Key tasks
* Support commercial teams in product development discussions with key customer accounts, driving innovation and offering consultancy support.
* Manage cross-functional and intercompany project teams to deliver new products for the UK market, leveraging existing production capabilities.
* Create detailed product development briefs, including attributes, target costs, formats, and packaging, ensuring alignment with factory capabilities and approved concepts.
* Own and report on the critical path of development projects, managing expectations and keeping stakeholders informed internally and externally, while acting as the main point of contact for customer development teams.
About You
* Experience with project management & executing new launches into Retail & Food Service customers.
* Comfortable being customer facing to support in development meetings and liaising upon key projects.
* Ability to run internal project calls with key stakeholders, being clear and precise whilst documenting actions & feedback for the wider commercial function.
* Experience of running project and product launches within FMCG essential to this role.

The NPD Project Manager job (ref:8780) is based in Norwich, City of Norfolk, and is paying up to £40,000 according to your experience.
The package includes 22 days holiday + bank holidays, 4% employer pension, and two days’ work from home.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, Office Hours.
