What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant and welcome applicants from both experienced teaching assistants and non-experienced teaching assistants.
The successful candidate will:
• Support classroom activities to ensure full engagement and full participation for all pupils
• Assist in implementing EHCP and personalised plans under the direction of the SENCO and class teacher
• Provide 1-1 or small group support to children with SEND needs
• Promote a positive and safe learning environment
• Monitor student progress and report back to the class teacher and SENCO
• Communicate effectively with staff members and parents regarding student progress
• Value all pupils as individuals and put them at the heart of everything you do.
• Make learning fun and challenging.
• Be able to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Work in partnership with all stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for pupils.
