Role Overview:
As an Electrical Contract Manager, you will oversee and manage the delivery of electrical projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for project planning, resource management, budgeting, compliance with health and safety standards, and ensuring all work meets our high quality benchmarks. Working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, you will ensure projects run smoothly, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage electrical contracts from inception to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
2. Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing excellent customer service throughout project delivery.
3. Oversee financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, cost control, and forecasting.
4. Coordinate and supervise the activities of electrical engineers, subcontractors, and site teams.
5. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
6. Prepare regular project reports, providing updates on progress, cost, and any potential risks or issues.
7. Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
8. Lead project meetings, conduct site inspections, and address any project concerns.
9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. Proven experience as an Electrical Contract Manager or Project Manager in the electrical or construction industry.
2. Strong understanding of electrical systems, industry standards, and regulations.
3. Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, planning, and resource management.
4. In-depth knowledge of health and safety requirements on electrical projects.
5. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and interact with clients effectively.
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
7. Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., HNC, HND, or degree in electrical engineering) preferred.
8. A valid UK driving license is essential.
