Description NOV is looking for an Inspector based in Great Yarmouth. This position is a critical role within NOV ISE, the successful candidate will be responsible for dimensionally and visually inspecting, goods-In products and materials for conformance to specifications, using fixed, preset, and/or adjustable measuring instruments. Also responsible for performing a wide variety of inspection and quality control operations through visual, dimensional, and functional techniques; make the necessary critical observations along with completing Goods-Out inspection by thorough and detailed inspection report and documentation. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform visual and dimensional inspection on components, raw materials, finish goods during manufacturing process or as received in accordance to drawing, purchase order, router, codes, and standards requirement. Perform source inspections in NOV and supplier facilities. Make accept/reject decision on inspected products and suggest possible correction when needed. Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain files of inspection documents. Review for approval of inspection records and material test report received for compliance. Maintain inspection and measuring equipment. Create detailed Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for nonconforming parts. Coordinate nonconformity process from opening to closing. Understand the calibration requirement and process. Follow the calibration maintenance on NOV inspection tools and equipment. Completion of internal audits Travel as and when required. Other quality related tasks. Other: Actively participate in training as required. Ensure that all statutory and regulatory safety and environmental requirements are adhered to in line with company procedures and policies. Ensure all company policies surrounding data control, health & safety, quality requirements and housekeeping are met. Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager. Be fully aware of personal workload, prioritise and organise to ensure deadlines are achieved.
