This post (0.1 FTE) is funded by ACT (Additional Cost of Teaching of undergraduate medical students) to lead a project in inter-professional learning that supports medical students in acquiring the GMC outcomes required and the necessary skills for working as part of a multi-professional healthcare team on graduation. The post holder will be based in the Institute for Education in Healthcare and Medical Sciences (IEHMS) within the School of Medicine, Medical Sciences and Nutrition and be an active part of a team with a strong interest in high-quality educational research and scholarship.
Job Description
The post will require excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and the applicant must develop strong relationships across a wide range of stakeholders including leads within the MBChB programme, General Practice team, partner Health Boards, and other educational institutions.
Individuals with a primary medical degree will be appointed on the Senior Lecturer clinical salary scale for Academics below the level of Consultant, 10% of £76,082 - £107,625 per annum, negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.
Individuals with other primary healthcare degree qualifications will be appointed on the Senior Lecturer salary scale, 10% of £58,596 - £65,814 per annum, negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.
