Frontline Recruitment Weymouth are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Operative to join our client team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various operational tasks within our facility. This position requires a proactive individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
* Perform production tasks as assigned by the Production Manager.
* Identify materials needed to complete production tasks effectively.
* Monitor the quality of builds and report production issues in line with client processes.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance facility operations and efficiency.
* Adhere to IMS operating procedures.
* Maintain and update project route cards throughout production.
* Undertake additional tasks within skills and competence as directed.
* Conduct local Health & Safety risk assessments.
* Work safely to protect oneself and others.
* Keep the facility and work areas clean and organized as part of daily duties.
* Ensure the safe use of COSHH items.
* Maintain tooling and equipment in the integration facility.
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in a mechanical or engineering environment.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Proficient in using hand tools, mains-powered tools, and battery-operated tools.
* Strong ability to follow instructions and work safely.
* Basic proficiency in IT.
