Facilities & Workplace Assistant\nEdinburgh City Centre | fully office-based role\nTemp to Permanent role | 3 months Temp initially\nFull time | 40 hours per week | hours to be worked between 7:30am and 6:00pm\nPay rate of £13.50 per hour + holiday pay\n\nSearch Consultancy are delighted to be working exclusively with a Professional Services firm based in Edinburgh City Centre to recruit this role on an initial 3 month temporary basis with the role becoming permanent following on from this.\n\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing Facilities & Workplace support to the business.\n\nDuties involved in this role will include:\n* Carrying out office Facilities checks, reporting issues & faults \n* Management of office supplies including stationery, toners & paper - ordering & replenishing when required\n* Ensuring meeting rooms are set up when required including they are cleaned and equipment is set up & working\n* Acting as Health & Safety officer for the building, including reporting on H&S issues & carrying out inductions for new starts\n* Acting as Fire Marshall including floor walks & drills\n* Ensuring that Waste, Energy and Environmental processes are followed at all times\n* Various ad hoc office & facilities duties as required/directed\n\nIn order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:\n* Previous experience within a Facilities or Workplace role carrying out duties in line with the above - this experience is ESSENTIAL\n* First class communication skills, both written & verbal\n* Excellent organisational & time management skills, with the ability to prioritise a very busy workload effectively\n* A problem solving mindset with the ability to come up with creative solutions\n\nIf this is the role for you, apply now!\n\nPlease note that only applicants who have the required skills and experience detailed above will be considered for this role.\n\nSearch is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age
