I’m looking for a Preconstruction/Bid Manager for a very successful contractor operating nationally.
My client needs someone who can give them the competitive edge in winning work.
You’ll be responsible for putting forward strong, sharp technical presentations during the tendering process. This will give my client an advantage in terms of a coherent, tangible solution to their customer’s requirements along with being a step ahead of their competition.
The ideal candidate will be currently working in Preconstruction/Bid management/writing/tendering and ideally this will be with a Civils structures/civil engineering specialist.
General Overview
1. Coordinate and complete, with the assistance of internal departments PQQ’s for Structures and Rail
2. Structures and Rail ITT’s – Management of tender documents using clients document system and uploading onto internal system (OneDrive / Teams) for use of all internal parties involved in the tender process
3. Review ITT info & produce project overview presentation for Tender Launch meeting
4. Develop tender submission documents, collate tender return information and present in agreed format
5. Manage and update project photo library for use in tender submission
6. Using agreed format develop and produce technical literature for – project case studies / capability statements
Special Requirements:
1. Good understanding / capabilities in the use of document control software / portals
2. Good understanding / capabilities of publishing software in order to produce cutting edge presentations / tender documents
3. Good understanding / capabilities are Revit / AutoCAD model management in order to extract tender information
My client has a strong presence in the market across the UK and would like to take their brand into more civil engineering biased projects.
There’s a salary in line with the level of candidate required and there is room for negotiation in order to secure the right candidate for the role.
You can also work on a daily rate if this is preferable.
The successful candidate will need a successful track record of securing contracts via design-led technical presentations. You will be working closely with the existing work winning team. Applicants need to be au-fait with the latest publishing/marketing software, ideally have both principal and subcontractor experience and be able to write responses to tender questions having consulted the relevant experts.
