Trust wide responsibility for delivery of an effective and efficient high quality bone densitometry reporting service and patient care that meets the needs of patients and referrers. Provides highly specialist knowledge and care for patients. To contribute at a Trust wide level to the strategic development of specialist service in relation to bone densitometry reporting and treatment recommendations within NMPCE. Performs unsupervised image interpretation providing a written report on appropriate, selected imaging examinations in relation to the specialist area. Lead responsibility for the strategic and operational delivery and quality of the imaging service and patient care provided in relation to the specialist area. Liaises with Consultant Rheumatologist responsible for specialist area. Please note it is a requirement of The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust that all successful candidates who require a DBS for the post they have been offered pay for their DBS certificate.The method of payment is a salary deduction from your first months pay.
