Stock Controller Growing SME, Burton-upon-Trent £25-27k Full time (Site based) - Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 3.30pm with an early finish on a Friday. Eaton Syalon is recruiting on behalf of a growing SME in Burton-upon-Trent, seeking a Stock Controller to support their busy operations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business where you’ll play a key role in managing stock, goods in/out, and ensuring seamless communication between departments. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and a hands-on approach to inventory management. Forklift and ERP system training will be provided, making it a great opportunity for those looking to develop their skills in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Goods Inwards - Receiving, checking, and recording incoming stock. Unloading Goods - Using a forklift (training available). Quality Control - Reporting any rejects or shortages. Packing & Goods Outwards - Preparing and dispatching orders. Loading Goods - Using a forklift (training available). Stock Control - Managing inventory using an ERP system (training provided). Picking Stock - Allocating stock for jobs based on system reports. Kitting Jobs Out - Ensuring all necessary parts and materials are ready for production. Re-ordering Consumables & PPE - Managing stock replenishment Stores Housekeeping - Keeping storage areas clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards. Communication - Liaising with purchasing and production teams to ensure smooth workflow. We are keen to talk to you if you have experience in a stores, warehouse, or stock control environment. You will need to be comfortable using computer systems (ERP experience is a plus, but full training will be provided). You are a team player with strong attention to detail and organisational skills. If you have a forklift license it would be an advantage but not essential. A proactive approach with a positive and problem-solving attitude.
