An impressive Barnsley-based care business is looking for a part-time Finance Officer with a range of financial skills to join their team. Our client, a highly regarded service provider in the UK, has grown impressively over the last few years and is excited to expand their team with the addition of a part-time Finance Officer.
The role of a Finance Officer in this business incorporates a variety of duties and is the ideal position for an individual who thrives in a quick-paced environment and can complete varied tasks with an aura of confidence and accuracy.
As a Finance Officer, you will ensure the smooth sailing of our client’s financial operations by undertaking a range of duties, such as purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control, and payroll processing.
Key duties include:
* Timesheet management
* Inputting new starters/leavers, pensions etc. onto Sage50
* Generating sales & purchase invoices
* Reconciliations
* Processing transactions
* Assist with financial reports
We are keen to hear from you if you have some of the following skills & attributes:
* Proficient in a range of systems (including Sage & Excel)
* Organised & eye for detail
* Strong interpersonal skills, written & spoken English
* Team player
* Experience in sales & purchase ledger, credit control & payroll is preferred
