We have an opportunity for a Remedy Developer to join our client’s team. The team works on remote working basis.
* Contract: 16 Weeks Contract
* Location: Reading (once in a week)
* Hours: 40, Monday to Friday
Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Remedy Developer to join our team, providing support and development for our bespoke BMC Remedy service management platform. This role involves handling a variety of responsibilities, including resolving issues, performing impact assessments, and developing solutions as needed. The candidate will work across multiple projects and BAU (Business as Usual) support, delivering consistently within the platform's remit while adapting to the changing needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support and development for the BMC Remedy platform.
* Perform impact assessments and analysis for platform-related issues.
* Develop and implement solutions to address platform faults or user queries.
* Manage multiple queries of varying complexity and size, ensuring timely resolution.
* Maintain the platform’s bespoke functionalities tailored to business needs.
* Collaborate with the helpdesk and other teams to address logged issues, incidents, and faults.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience with BMC Remedy development, including building and fixing the platform from scratch.
* Strong understanding of the core fundamentals of Remedy development.
* Ability to troubleshoot, analyse, and resolve issues within the platform.
* Experience in providing impact assessments and effective solutions.
* Capability to handle multiple queries simultaneously, depending on their size and complexity.
* Familiarity with bespoke Remedy implementations is essential.
* Must be a Developer with experience of building/fixing Remedy NOT a user of
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with the telecom industry is not required; candidates from any industry background are welcome.
