The opportunity
Relation is seeking a People & Office Administrator to support all HR-related administration and ensure a welcoming and pleasant environment at our state-of-the-art office at Regent’s Place. The role will report to the Director of People.
You will work closely with the People team and have a direct impact in making Relation an excellent place to work and visit. The nature of the role responsibilities means you will usually work from our offices five days per week.
Your responsibilities
Human Resources (HR)
* Assisting with hiring processes and HR-related documents.
* Coordinating logistics to ensure welcoming and effective onboarding experiences for new Relationeers.
* Ensuring that employee data and HR documentation is accurate, maintained, and updated across our HR systems, including our HRIS (Humaans) and people success platforms (Lattice).
* Supporting, as required, with offboarding, benefits, and performance development processes.
Office Management
* Being a proud ‘face of the company’, meeting and greeting visitors and guests, ensuring a positive first impression.
* Ensuring a welcoming, professional, clean and enjoyable working environment for all Relationeers.
* Assisting with facility management, including compliance with health and safety procedures and setting up recruitment and training events.
* Maintaining and replenishing stock levels of office equipment and supplies in communal spaces.
* Receiving deliveries and triaging these to the correct place and recipient.
Professionally, you have
* A desire to use and develop HR knowledge and experience across the whole employee lifecycle. Ideally, you will have some working knowledge of HR legislation and best practices.
* A proactive, highly organised, and reliable approach, with excellent attention to detail and presentation.
* Experience working in a busy office environment, maintaining high standards and using initiative to solve unexpected problems or add value while completing tasks.
* Enthusiasm for maintaining a positive and enjoyable workplace environment.
* The ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive materials and information.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels—even when saying “no.”
* Confidence in multi-tasking and adapting priorities in a fast-moving environment.
* Proficiency in IT and strong written communication skills.
