About the job
As HR Advisor, you'll lead on all aspects of Human Resources, working closely with managers, the HR Team and other support functions to ensure best practice across employee relations cases, wellbeing projects, and other HR activities. You will play a pivotal role in creating a workplace where every team member feels supported and valued.
You will also be responsible for collating and preparing the figures for the monthly HR and operations meetings, payroll reporting and ensuring that HR business partners with key stakeholders.
Your main responsibilities will be:
1. Automating data collection and reporting to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
2. Conducting administrative and people assistance duties in line with processes and procedures
3. Maintain HR records in accordance with GDPR and data protection regulations.
4. Work collaboratively with both the people team and our network of colleagues across the organisation to understand their needs and to support in continuous improvement to help us to engage talented individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds to join and grow with our organisation.
5. To support the Finance Administrator in addressing any queries and providing the relevant payroll notifications relating to changes to employee data.
6. Promote a positive organisational culture to foster a supportive and engaged workforce.
7. Managing and resolving complex ER cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies, and restructures.
8. To maintain HR policies on the employee portal/SharePoint, and ensure documents are up to date.
9. Lead on HR-related projects, ensuring best practices is implemented throughout the employee lifecycle.
10. Provide HR data and reports to support decision-making and improve HR processes across the organisation
As a minimum, you will need to have:
11. Strong experience as a HR Generalist
12. Experience collaborating with key stakeholders to cleanse and prepare people data, enabling accurate and effective analysis
13. Experience developing and implementing ER strategies that align with organisational goals and objectives
14. Proven ability ensuring compliance with employment laws and best practices to achieve optimal outcomes in all ER matters.
15. Experience managing and resolving complex ER cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies, and restructures.
16. Excellent organisation skills, negotiation skills and ability to prioritise own work and Strong attention to detail.
17. Excellent written, problem solving, listening and nonverbal and verbal communication skills.
18. Experience of building internal relationships
19. Computer literacy, must be able to easily operate in terms of checking and maintaining data and responding to emails utilising chat services
20. Microsoft Technologies – Office 365, Teams, Excel, Outlook
Desirable
21. Workday dashboard experience, and Workday reporting skills (calculated fields, discovery boards, dashboards, and composite reports).
22. Process owner/developer for Workday changes, ensuring accurate updates for existing employees (job changes, promotions, contract amendments,
23. CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 is desirable but not required
24. Masters in HR is desirable but not required
About the location
25. Sheffield city centre at our modern offices.
26. Ten minutes' walk from Sheffield Station.
27. Travel to other UK locations as appropriate.

28. 37.5 hours per week
