About the role:
Our client is a trailblazer in sustainable energy, employing cutting-edge technology to transform non-recyclable waste into energy while adhering to the highest global standards in combustion and emissions control. Future plans include exploring carbon capture technology to further reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Due to ongoing expansion, we are looking for a competent Security Officer to join the team. Based in Glasgow, the successful applicant will be required on the following shift pattern:
Monday to Friday (Day shifts) 06:00-18:00
Duties and Responsibilities of a Security Officer:
* Provide a safe and secure environment for staff and customers
* Respond to client emergencies
* Liaise with the police and local crime reduction agencies, if required
* Provide reports as necessary
Requirements:
* A valid SIA Front Line Licence is essential.
* Previous experience in a similar security role is desired but not essential; training will be provided.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
* Strong observational skills and attention to detail, ensuring all security protocols are followed.
* A proactive and vigilant approach to security, with the ability to assess and respond to potential risks.
* A professional and customer-oriented mindset, dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
