HR Manager
Permanent, full-time position.
Up to £40,000 per year.

We are looking for a standalone HR Manager to join our team, bringing their knowledge, experience, and "can do" approach to our organisation.
This is a permanent, full-time role (Monday-Friday) with hours of 8:30am - 5:30pm. Our offices are based close to Brentwood station and within walking distance of Brentwood high street. The chosen candidate will be responsible for professional standards and will ensure that Athona attracts the best talent for open vacancies. With support from the HR Assistant, you will be the go-to person for all employees, which will include:
1. Dealing with HR queries throughout the business
2. Providing ongoing HR advice and support to all employees
3. Managing the full recruitment cycle from attraction to induction
4. Employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement, and redundancy
5. Monitoring and reviewing HR policies and processes in line with employment regulations, implementing changes where necessary
The HR Manager will report directly to the Group Finance & Operations Director.
Requirements:
1. Previous standalone HR experience
2. Excellent communication skills
3. Ideally Level 5 CIPD qualified
4. A comprehensive background in HR
5. Internal recruitment specialist
6. Ability to build trusted relationships with employees
7. Organised, proactive multi-tasker
