Bring design to test facility, bringing equipment to life and setting to work
Overseeing Verification and validation activities to ensure alignment with the technical requirements, supporting the integrations and testing phases as needed
Identifying opportunities for risk mitigation and capturing evidence that requirements have been fulfilled
Ensuring that all requirements and engineering activities comply with engineering management plans and industry best practices
Experience in developing a C&I design for a large scale C&I system ensuring it meets a wide range of requirements, such as functional, defence standards, industrial standards, etc.

Proficiency in systems engineering methodologies, particularly in requirements development, V&V planning, and interface control
Degree level qualification (or equivalent experience) in relevant STEM subject (Engineering/ Physics/ Maths/ Science)

The Electrical Compatibility Test Facility team:
As a Principal Engineer, you will be involved in the verification and validation of the power system through compatibility testing of equipment and power system analysis. You’ll be part of a wider multidisciplinary electrical team who’s responsible for delivery a high integrity electrical power system. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
