A Health & Safety Advisor is sought after to ensure the safety, health, and welfare of the workforce in a renowned FMCG company. This role is critical to the successful operation of our engineering and manufacturing department in North Yorkshire. Client Details Our client is a highly respected leader in the FMCG industry, known for their quality products and commitment to excellence. They maintain a strong presence in the market, specifically in the engineering and manufacturing sector. Description Drive positive safety culture and engagement across site. Develop, implement, and manage health and safety strategies and policies Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures Initiate and organise training of employees and executives Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions Review existing policies and procedures Advise on a range of specialist areas, e.g. fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases Profile A successful Health & Safety Advisor should have: IOSH Managing Safely as a minimum NEBOSH General Certificate desirable, or open to training Experience in the FMCG industry, particularly in an Engineering & Manufacturing environment Excellent knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices Proficient in producing reports and developing relevant policies Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment Job Offer An estimated salary range of £40-45K per annum A culture that encourages work-life balance and professional growth The opportunity to work in a vibrant and dynamic environment We encourage candidates who are passionate about health and safety and are seeking an opportunity to make a difference in a reputable FMCG company to apply.
