Our Document Specialist team have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Document Technician to join them at our Bristol office on a permanent basis. This role is to provide consistent, high-quality, professional document support to legal teams and business services departments.
You will be joining a small team of professionals who work collaboratively with each other and all departments across the business.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide technical document support to the business using Microsoft Office packages
* Amend and format documentation, work on complex documents and rectify problems
* House-style legal documents and reports, identifying and correcting style issues
* Support with PowerPoint presentations including creating diagrams, images and organograms using template and brand guidelines
* Assist in the creation of pitch documents, team sheets and CVs using the Firm's branded templates
* Work with PDF software to combine, manipulate, convert and amend PDF documents
* Create, format and edit data spreadsheets in Excel
* Prepare document comparisons using the appropriate software
You must be reliable and organised with an ability to trouble-shoot and work under pressure at times with a 'can do' outlook. This is a busy role which demands close attention to detail and an ability to prioritise tasks and manage expectations with clients.
What we're looking for:
* Strong IT skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages with advanced knowledge of Word. (Knowledge of Adobe Pro would be an advantage, although training can be given)
* Previous experience in professional services
* A high level of attention to detail.
* Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* A great team player.
* Ability to problem solve with a methodical and logical approach.
