The role:The Financial Accountant will support the Financial Controller with various projects instigated by legal changes that impact the education sector, requirements generated by John Lyons Foundation and other initiatives as requested by the Director of Finance. Flexibility will also be required to support other workstreams of the finance team at busy times.For more information please review the job description attached as a separate document to the advertisement on the School vacancies page.
The skills:This role will suit aQualified CharteredAccountant; with CIMA, ICAEW, AAT or similar. You will have VAT knowledge in the corporate sector, with experience of completing VAT returns and liaising with HMRC as well as experience of corporate taxation. As a supportive team member with an ability to work in different areas of the finance specialism, you will be flexible to assist the team when they have busy workloads. Using your pragmatic business experience and initiative you will enjoy involving yourself in interesting financial projects for the School to support business improvement.
