As a Sales Assistant at Saucony’s Covent Garden store, you will be the face of the brand, delivering an exceptional guest experience and fostering connections within the running community. You will play a key role in driving sales, providing expert product knowledge, and creating an inspiring in-store environment that reflects Saucony’s commitment to movement, performance, and innovation. Fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin is essential to support our diverse customer base and provide a tailored experience for international guests. Key Responsibilities: Deliver Outstanding Guest Experience • Provide a warm, authentic, and engaging welcome to every guest. • Understand guest needs and tailor recommendations to enhance their running and lifestyle experience. • Assist Cantonese- and Mandarin-speaking guests in their shopping journey, ensuring they feel understood and valued. Become a Saucony Product Expert • Develop deep knowledge of Saucony’s footwear, apparel, and technology to confidently advise guests. • Stay up to date on the latest product launches, sustainability initiatives, and performance innovations. • Assist guests in finding the perfect fit using in-store tools and gait analysis (where applicable). Support Community Engagement & Events • Encourage guests to participate in Saucony’s local running clubs and in-store events. • Assist with setting up and facilitating community workshops, run meetups, and guest speaker sessions. • Actively engage with the local running and fitness community, representing the brand both in and out of the store. Drive Sales & Store Performance • Meet and exceed individual and store sales targets through exceptional guest engagement. • Maximize conversion rates by understanding guest needs and providing the right solutions. • Stay proactive in upselling and cross-selling complementary products to enhance the guest’s experience. Champion the Saucony Brand Story • Inspire guests with knowledge of Saucony’s heritage, values, and commitment to performance and sustainability. • Engage in storytelling to connect guests to the brand’s innovation and passion for movement. • Act as a brand ambassador both in-store and within the wider running community. Maintain an Exceptional In-Store Environment • Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times. • Assist with stock replenishment, merchandising, and maintaining correct product displays. • Follow visual merchandising guidelines to create an inspiring shopping experience. Assist with Digital & Omnichannel Integration • Educate guests on Saucony’s online services, including digital ordering and product reservations. • Support seamless guest transitions between online and in-store shopping experiences. • Encourage social media engagement by sharing in-store promotions and events. Ensure Operational Excellence • Process sales transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate handling of payments and returns. • Follow loss prevention procedures and security guidelines. • Assist with stock management, deliveries, and inventory control to ensure product availability. Embrace a People-First Mindset • Foster an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere for all guests and team members. • Engage with guests in a natural and conversational manner, avoiding high-pressure sales tactics. • Ensure every visitor feels valued, whether they make a purchase or not.
