A full-time opportunity for a highly experienced B1 Licenced Aircraft Engineer with 777 type rating to work for a leading MRO based at Manchester Airport (M90). The role will involve carrying out a wide range of maintenance and repairs to aircraft and its structures. Key duties & responsibilities of the role: Carry out aircraft inspections. Working with the Check Manager to agree on maintenance targets and planning. Deliver maintenance task to schedule and update maintenance records. Certifying specific aircrafttypes on their QA044 Staff Authorisation Document. Monitor all maintenance projects against the planned schedule, and provide regular briefings, guidanceand support to the teams. Work with CheckManager and B1/B2 Certifying Engineers to identifyimpending problems and generate solutions. Assist the Check Manager with the personal development of engineering teams. Carry out DQS self-audits. Skills and Experience Required to be Successful in this Licenced Aircraft Engineer role: Part 66 LicenceB1, B2, B1/B2. Indentured apprenticeship or equivalent in an aviation engineering or similar mechanical engineering field. Minimum of 3 years experience as a technician. Full UK driving license.
