My client is seeking a motivated and eager individual who is looking to develop their payroll skills within a supportive, close-knit team. Working alongside the Payroll Supervisor and Payroll Officer, you will play a key role in managing three weekly payrolls and one monthly payroll. This role offers excellent growth potential, with the opportunity to progress to Payroll Officer over time. Key Responsibilities: Process holiday requests and manage sickness absence records. Prepare monthly reports, including employee movements, new starters, and leavers. Enter new starters and process leavers in the payroll system. Input timesheets for both weekly and monthly payrolls. Reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance. Support the annual salary review process. Process sickness-related and statutory payments. Perform wage reconciliations for weekly and monthly payrolls for the Accounts department. Manage commissions, bonuses, overtime, and expenses for all payroll cycles. Maintain and organise payroll documentation and reports. Keep Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) up to date. Distribute payslips efficiently and accurately. Provide administrative support to the Fleet Manager as needed. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years' payroll experience. Strong understanding of payroll processes and best practices. High level of confidentiality and professionalism. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Meticulous attention to detail. Strong team player with a collaborative mindset. Desirable (Not Essential): Experience using iTrent payroll software.
