Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with project teams to enhance and develop Logistics UK’s custom systems.
* Drive the entire software development lifecycle, from design to maintenance.
* Estimate development efforts accurately and assist in troubleshooting.
* Contribute actively in scrum ceremonies and offer 3rd line support.
* Ensure high-quality code with thorough code reviews and best practices.
* Develop systems in alignment with Logistics UK’s policies and security standards.
* Use Azure DevOps for managing bugs, user stories, tasks, and automated builds/releases.
* Maintain source control on projects using Git in Azure DevOps.
* Participate in scheduled releases outside regular hours.
Requirements
* SFIA Level 3 or above; hands-on experience in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining systems.
* Skilled in C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, JavaScript (AngularJS/React), Azure Microservices, and Visual Studio IDE.
* Familiar with SQL, Unit Testing (NUnit), and version control strategies.
* Strong troubleshooting, time management, and teamwork skills.
* Effective communicator with a commitment to continuous learning.
* Proficient in Agile/Lean methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), Azure DevOps, and secure coding practices.
