Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a leading international media company who are recruiting for a Installation & Service Co-ordinator. You will be responsible for proactively managing the live day to day schedule of surveys, install and service jobs for the field-based team which comprises both internal engineers and subcontractors. Organisational skills are key, you will be working on multiple pieces of work for various stakeholders whilst ensuing resource is always effectively utilised, to provide a great service to their customers. Key duties include: Managing scheduling queues - Site Surveys, Service & Install. Accurately scheduling jobs to the appropriately skilled engineers. Booking in works with subcontractors and confirming prices. Other queues include – despatch & site to install. Checking over previously attended jobs ensuring engineers have called in and provided the team with updates, and where applicable the engineer is issued with a closure code. Raising transfer journals for equipment to be despatched in accordance with site attendance requirements. Issuing relevant paperwork for both service & install jobs – WCC’s, RAM’s and plans to engineers prior to site attendance. Checking DPD throughout the day ensuring kit is delivered to site in time for the engineer. Responding to emails from both internal and external stakeholders. Speaking to engineers frequently throughout each day to receive updates on their service / install jobs. Liaising with site contacts / technical support on arranging attendance / confirm attendance dates for installation etc. Arranging access hire equipment where required for jobs. Check each internal engineer’s route for the following week ensuring travel / distance between each job and their house is acceptable. Then send out a plan of works to each engineer for the following week, so they are informed of their whereabouts. Key skills required: Working through challenges situations / problem solving - schedulers will need to devise plans of action and asses those plans regularly. Need to be ready when problems arise and be able to anticipate problems before they happen. Organisational skills - at any one time the scheduling team can be dealing with multiple requests from both internal and external contacts, which may mean moving jobs around in order to accommodate requests. Strong team player – you will be working closely alongside other schedulers in carrying out various team tasks and duties on a rota basis. Will need to liaise regularly with the rest of the team to ensure all tasks are being covered off. Applicants must have similar service/installations administration experience. You will must be highly organised, be a confident communicator and have strong IT skills.
